I came across this unusual farm in Nagambie. It is my daughter's friend's place in the backyard of their farm. When my daughter saw it I could not resist getting my camera out and then creating my own version to do my painting, when I got back to Ireland I then went to my art studio to create this amazing painting
Nagambie is a town in Victoria, Australia. TH city is on the Goulburn Valley Highway. Nagambie is a charming, lakeside town with a very wide main street which is located at the southern end of the Goulburn Valley between Seymour and Shepparton. The town is dominated by Lake Nagambie which lies beside the main street and provides waters for recreational boating and bird watching. Today the area is home to interesting vineyards as well as sheep, cattle, horse studs, and tourism with skydiving, rowing, water skiing, and the Nagambie Speedway being popular attractions.
Nagambie is located 138 km north of Melbourne via the Hume and Goulburn Valley Highways. It is 130 meters above sea level.
'Nagambie' was named in 1872. The name was said to be a local Aboriginal word meaning 'lagoon' or 'still waters'.
