I painted this painting of my husband and his friend. I just loved the water on the Foyle against the Curragh. I found it interesting with my painting of the Curragh with the water hitting against the curragh.
My husband and his friend made this Curragh and then it was launched with all the Curragh's that were made. It was a huge event in Derry that day with all the curraghs lined up. The launch was in The Foyle Derry, Northern Ireland.

This was when I visited Austraila. I headed out to the Great Ocean Road as I have been told about the 12 Apostles. I must say when I saw the amazing colours and landscape it too my breath away.
Painting this stunning painting of the Twelve Apostles. The water is so many colours of bright blue-green the landscape of the pillars is sharp along the shoreline. I had to get the correct pigment to get the colour close to the water. Like a Caribbean glow,
This is a beautiful oil painting of the 12 Apostles are a collection of limestone stacks off the shore of Port Campbell National Park, by the Great Ocean Road in Victoria Australia.
Their proximity to one another has made the site a popular tourist attraction. Seven of the original eight stacks remain standing at the Twelve Apostles viewpoint, after one collapsed in July 2005. Though the view from the promontory by the Twelve Apostles never included twelve stacks, additional stacks - not considered part of the Apostles group_ are located to the west within the national par
Rising out of the Southern Ocean, alongside Australia's famous Great Ocean Road, you'll find the 12 Apostles – limestone pillars that were once connected to the mainland cliffs. Waves and wind carved them into caves, then arches, and eventually battered them down into 45-metre (150-foot) tall columns. There are, in fact, only eight Apostles at the moment, but who knows when the next stretches of the cliff will become pillars
How to get there
